When you call Shanks Heating and Cooling, that gets our team moving! The first call into our customer care center will put you in touch with one of our representatives. They are highly trained and will help you get started with our company. To help you understand our process we want to show you what you will receive each time you call.

Customer Care Center

  1. Our representatives are so kind, they will patiently listen to what your issue may be, find out the best time that fits with your schedule and notify our best technician for your needs and schedule your appointment.
  2. The technician – Our Care center will provide all of your information in regard to your appointment to one of our expert technicians. The technician will call you within the appointment window and provide you with an exact arrival time. In some locations you will receive a text message that shows you when and where the technician is located in relation to your home. This will give you an estimated time of arrival as well, along with a picture of the technician who will be at your home. Please understand all of our technicians have gone through background checks are regularly drug tested. We want you to rest assured that you are being well taken care of and that our employees meet your high standards.
  3. Service with a smile – Our expert will arrive at your home with professional company apparel, along with a company ID badge so you know that he is with our company. Our technician knows that a smile goes a long way in an initial meeting, they are super friendly and love to take care of their customers. Once inside your home, the technician will put on booties to protect your flooring and will go over the issues with you that you are having to ensure that he knows exactly what your problems are. The technician will then work towards diagnosing the problem and finding the best solution.
  4. Determining the problem you may have – Sometimes in takes a little while to determine what could be the exact cause of your HVAC problem. Once this has been uncovered, the technician can explain exactly what the issue is and inform you what the price would be for the repair with a professional bid. When you receive this you can either move forward with the repair and get this done quickly or decide not to move forward with the repair at that time.
  5. Finishing the job If you decide to move forward with the job, the technician will get your authorization in writing so that you understand what you are agreeing to. Our trucks are equipped with many tools and parts to complete your job at that time. They don’t have to leave and reschedule and take up a bunch of your time – they are prepared to get the job done that day. Your satisfaction is our top priority! Once your work is completed the technician will go over all of the repairs that were made to your system and provide you with an invoice. Our Goal is to make sure that you are fully satisfied with our performance – we will show you how you can leave us a review and if your not 100% happy with our work, we will have the opportunity to make it right.
