At Shanks Heating and Cooling, we believe our work is about more than comfort — it’s about caring for the people who make our community home. Every year, our Climate of Caring Program gives local families the chance to feel that love and support in a real, tangible way.

How It Works

Once a year, we invite the community to come together and nominate someone they know who’s struggling — whether it’s financially, physically, emotionally, or otherwise. We all know someone quietly carrying a heavy load. Climate of Caring is our way of saying, “You’re not alone.”

After reviewing nominations, our team selects a deserving recipient to receive a brand-new heating and cooling system — completely free of charge.

Installation, equipment, labor — all covered. It’s our way of giving a hand up, not a handout, to someone who could use a little help and a lot of hope.
